A graduate from Raffles Design International, Mumbai, Akanksha has assisted Fashion mogul & Indian Film industry's most celebrated Costume Designer Manish Malhotra for 6 years, fine tuning herself under his guidance in the Design team as well as a Senior Stylist on films like I hate Love Stories, Rockstar, Jab Tak Hai Jaan, Student of the Year, Chennai Express & Yeh Jawani hai Deewani to name a few. Her strenuous hours creating costumes for these illustrious movies, led to her obsession for detail, fit & bespoke sensibilities.
The Label is best known for its influence of colour & western expressions making it versatile, more effective yet fusing with it the cultural ethnicity that the brand originates from.
Anamika's tryst with design and style began with the Damania Fashion Award in 1995 which jumpstarted her career, and saw the beginning of the label "ANAMIKA KHANNA': With color, craft and texture as her forte, trousseau wear is naturally her area of specialization. Her look is global with ethnic Indian craft as her mainstay. Following closely on the heels of the success of her show at the Lakme India Fashion Week Grand Finale 2004 was an overwhelming response at the London Fashion Week 2005. This was followed with an exclusive contract with British major, Harrod's and coverage in magazines like Glamour (Paris), Vogue (October 2005), (U.K) and Vogue Best Buy. The year 2007 came with an invitation to showcase the brand at the Paris Fashion Week, the first for any Indian designer.
Anita Dongre has been at the forefront of the Indian fashion scene for over 20 years. A household name and a highly respected leader in the global fashion fraternity, she is also celebrated for her commitment to reviving, sustaining and empowering traditional Indian crafts. With a desire to make fashion accessible, she crafted a folio of brands to meet the Indian consumers need for fashionable wear. Global Desi & AND, her two popular high street brands and her eponymous luxury label ANITA DONGRE with its fine bridal wear, couture, and pret, along with the jewellery brand Pink City are the hot favourites of Bollywood divas, and fashionistas.
An integral part of the Indian Fashion Industry and a revered couturier, Anju Modi started her eponymous label in 1990. The label 'Anju Modi' is synonymous to beauty and elegance and her designs are incensed with romance and passion. Over her illustrious journey spanning over twenty years, she has shown at multiple fashion events across the globe.
She has most recently received critical appraisal and prestigious honours for the Costume Design for Deepika Padukone & Priyanka Chopra for Ram-Leela. Hyderabad-based designer Anushree Reddy began her designing career in 2010. A self-taught designer and management graduate Anushree made her debut at Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2013. Her design philosophy lies in creating elaborate silhouettes brewed with subtle prints and surprising embellishments. About our Designers
Monica and Karishma found their calling in fashion early and have been successfully researching and consulting for internationally acclaimed luxury fashion brands such as Giorgio Armani, Valentino, Gucci, etc. for two decades. Monicadiscovered her innate talent for design and love for draping at St. Martin's, Londonwhile Karishma honed her skills in fashion at the National Institute of Fashion Technology, India's premier fashion institute. Having amassed long experience in international fashion for two decades, there was the yearning to chart a different course. JADE is the culmination of this yearning, and was established in 2008.

Jade is born of the art. Taking inspiration from India's long tradition of hand craftsmanship, Jade's raison d'être is to make the artisanal relevant in today's instant, industrialised world. Here, time halts its rapid stride and walks a slow walk tosavour the arts and culture. The M & K couture studio is conceived to be a reflection of our very raison d'être.

Armed with Bachelor of Arts Degree (Magna cum Laude) from The American College of Applied Arts (London) and Honors in Fashion Illustration from The Royal College of Arts (London), Monisha Jaising launched her eponymous label through the multi-brand retail store, Ensemble in/around 1990. She is one of India's first and foremost fashion designers, and was also one of the first to exhibit and retail through Ensemble. Monisha Jaising is also considered one of the pioneers of Indian Fashion.

Hence, I ventured into Bridal couture."

She is extremely passionate about art, music and modern architecture, but "India" has always been her strongest source of inspiration.
She is truly passionate about her work as a seamstress cum designer. She says "I feel so fortunate to be a part of a profession where I love to wake up and run to work every day..." Staying true to this, she is fully involved in the design process, starting with the choice of fabric to the quality of the finished garment.

In October 2008, the brand started its first, Flagship store in the prestigious Pali Hill area of Bandra, Mumbai; which is spread over 10,000 square feet. It also has a huge section dedicated as a bridal salon and another exclusive section for evening gowns.
The brand's second store started in May 2012 at the DLF Emporio Mall, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi; which is spread over 1,200 square feet.

Kotwara is an international couture brand crafted by filmmaker and painter, Muzaffar Ali – the Raja of Kotwara- and his architect wife Meera Ali. Ridhima Bhasin is a contemporary Indian designer, based in New Delhi. Born and raised in Delhi, Ridhima grew up assimilating an, overwhelming history, diverse culture, seminal art, copious heritage, divine architecture and design. Growing up she always knew that, she was born to create; little did she know that, she was born to create Fashion. It wasn't until she casually started taking interest in her sister, Ritika Bhasin's label. She'd find herself lounging around her sister's workshop for hours, helping people out , observing , getting a little too frantic about fabrics and embellishments; only to realize that she was highly fascinated by all that is, Fashion. She was destined to design, and that is what fostered her to pursue it as a career.
So, to give her daydream a chance, Ridhima enrolled herself in London College of Fashion. She acquired her technical skills, while studying 'Design & Merchandising' there. She graduated in summer of 2010, and decided to come back to India, only to join her sister's successful label, as her apprentice. She worked with her for three years, which helped enhance her design aesthetics and work ethics.
Finally, in 2014, with the right time and proficiency, the namesake label Ridhima Bhasin was born.
Ridhima Bhasin's design philosophy is pretty clear: 'It's for the people and from the people.' She has always been inspired by the idyllic modern-day woman, who is spirited yet soigné. She is quick to take inspiration from everything around her.
Her label is a juxtaposition of Brilliant craftsmanship, Indian textiles, intricate embroideries, and functionality. Her aesthetics are all about breaking the shackles of mundane silhouettes and color schemes. All her designs strike the right balance between contemporary and conservative, mainly focusing on accentuating the female form, resulting in romantic cuts and flattering silhouettes. So far, the label has come out with four collections. Each collection focuses on fusing, exotic Indian fabrics, intricate detailing, and impressive color palettes; to get that perfect attire every single time.
